1. Scope and operator
Memo Jong is operated by KUMAZAWA KAZUKI (trading as UrsaStack) at Roppongi KS Building 5F, 3-16-12 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo 106-0032, Japan. This policy explains information handling in the app. Contact details appear below.
2. Information entered or provided by users
Names or display names, records, settings and other information entered by users are handled on the device to provide the service. The operator does not obtain all such information. However, information described in section 3 is transmitted externally. Information users provide to third parties is also handled by those recipients.
Obtain necessary consent or other lawful authority when providing others’ personal information, and avoid entering or providing unnecessary personal information. Users manage the storage locations and access permissions for information under their own control. The operator may be unable to retrieve or delete information held at destinations or by recipients outside its control.
3. Information collected and how it is used
Usage analysis
We collect identifiers that distinguish app installations and devices, device/OS details, screens viewed, usage times, and action history to understand usage and improve quality.

Region check
To avoid starting analytics where consent is required, we estimate the country from the IP address when connecting to our official website, served by Cloudflare, Inc. The app uses only the country result and does not save or send the returned IP address to analytics. VPNs and similar services can cause the estimate to differ from the actual location. Analytics stays off until the region is known.
Advertising and measurement
We collect IP addresses, device details, available advertising identifiers, ad impressions and interactions to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. An approximate region may be inferred from IP addresses and similar information.

Purchase verification and paid features
We collect user identifiers, purchase history, proof of purchase, paid access rights and device information to verify and restore purchases and provide paid features. App stores process payments; the operator does not directly obtain credit card numbers.

Support requests
We use the contact details, such as an email address, and messages you provide to answer your request and resolve issues. Do not send personal information unless necessary for your request.
The information collected varies with your device, permissions and service settings. See the providers’ privacy policies listed below for their handling of information.
4. Recipients and international processing
Providers may process information outside Japan, including in the United States. Processing entrusted to providers is limited to the stated purposes and subject to appropriate supervision. Personal data disclosures and international transfers must rely on a lawful basis under applicable law, including required information and consent. Reading this policy or using the app does not substitute for separately required consent.
5. Retention and security
Users should also manage and delete information on their devices and copies they save or provide to others. Support information is retained as needed to resolve requests; purchase information is retained as needed for contractual and legal obligations. Unneeded information is deleted or anonymized. Retention by external services also depends on provider settings and policies. We take necessary safeguards, including access controls and provider oversight, and make legally required breach reports and notifications.
Safeguards do not guarantee that information can never be exposed or lost. Your responsibilities for devices and sharing do not remove the operator’s duties concerning security, provider supervision, legally required reports and notifications, or rights requests.
6. Choices and rights
In the EEA (EU, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), the UK and Switzerland, usage analytics is off by default and starts only with your separate consent. In other identified regions it is on by default. You can stop analytics in settings. Where required, a separate advertising consent form is shown; eligible users can change or withdraw advertising consent in settings. Analytics and advertising choices are separate. You can use the service after refusing. This version does not record reproductions of screen content. You may also change device tracking permissions, but refusing does not stop necessary communications such as purchase verification. Uninstalling does not delete information already collected.
To request information about purposes, access, correction, deletion, restriction of use or disclosure, records of third-party disclosures, or withdrawal of consent, email the address below. Describe your request and the information concerned. We verify identity only as necessary and respond under applicable law. Do not send unnecessary identity documents or other people’s information. We explain the reason if we cannot fulfill your request.
Where applicable, including in the EEA/UK, you also have rights to portability, restriction, objection and complaints to a supervisory authority. Relevant processing bases are contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate interests such as quality/security improvement, or consent where required. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
7. Minors
Minors should review this policy with a guardian where appropriate. If we learn that children’s information was collected without legally required parental consent, we will investigate and take necessary action; please contact us.
8. Changes and contact
We announce material changes and their effective date in the app or on the official website, and obtain fresh consent where legally required. Operator details and provider information follow.
